Hello Family (the descendants of Enoch and Parthena Cole),
Las Vegas has been selected for this year’s family reunion! Welcome back to the West. Can you believe it has been 10 years since we met on the West Coast in Portland, Oregon?
Our St. Louis family set the bar high, but we think Vegas is up to the challenge. We have selected Sam’s Town Casino as our reunion headquarters, equipped with a spa, arcade, 18-screen movie theater, restaurants, bowling alley and more. We have tried to balance activities and free time. We want to make sure that we have some quality reunion time and also give you time to explore on your own. So, we will only have one main event per day. As it will be real hot, you probably won’t want to do much outdoors, so we have reserved bowling lanes for Friday. Who’s up for a fun game of family vs. family competition? And perhaps we can all take in a movie together.
We will have a “Coles Got Talent” contest at the banquet. The prize will be $100 for the winner in each of 5 categories: Academic/Leadership, Dancing, Musical Instrument, Singing, and Spoken Word. The contest is open to all ages. Be ready to sign up for the talent show when you check in.
Please spread the word about our family scholarship. The application can be found on the website by going to the "Our Family" tab and clicking "Scholarship," or click here. You can donate to the family scholarship by clicking here. The application deadline is July14, 2018. The scholarship application must be done on online!
The fees are $125/adult and $90/child 12 and under. This will include welcome reception on Thursday, dinner on Friday, lunch on Saturday, a backpack, snacks, bowling and other shared activities. Please complete the two-sided registration form (enclosed) and send with a $75 non-refundable deposit (per family) by March 1st to Renee Anderson, 107 NE Laurelhurst Place, Portland, OR 97232, or, register online through the website by clicking here. This will be helpful for us to know how many people we are planning for. You may pay the balance of your registration fee in installments or in one lump sum by the registration deadline on July 14, 2018.

"Hitzville - The Show" is a journey through time with the music that made a city come alive. The show features hits made famous by Tina Turner, The Temptations, Gladys Knight, The Supremes, The Four Tops, and more.
Sam’s Town activities: Bowling, Bingo, Movie, Casino, Arcade, Pool and Spa
Sam’s Town also has a nightclub, Roxy’s Lounge, which is open every night except Monday

Magic of Motown with headliners who are the top soul impersonators in the world. You'll see tributes to James Brown, The Four Tops, Jackie Wilson, Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross and the Supremes, Martha Reeves & the Vandellas, Sam Cooke and Ray Charles.
