In Remembrance of Theresa Lucille Hampton

Theresa Lucille Hampton

Theresa Lucille Hampton was born May 31, 1918, in Sheffield, AL. She was the daughter of Matilda and Percy Hampton. After high school, she lived and worked in Sheffield, Seattle and St. Louis where she studied Cosmetology.

It was there that she had two children, Rona and Rita, with Percy Harding and worked as a beautician and a cook. She loved to entertain, watch soap operas and sports (especially baseball) and be surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her two daughters, a brother, John, three sisters-in-law; Viola, Sabina and Lessie, her BFF Pauline and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cousin Lucille's service will be held at Hames Cole Funeral Home on May 31, 2019. The wake is at 3:00 pm, service is from 3:30 to 4:30 and the repast is at 5:00.
